Feng Shui Mania

Saturday, February 14, 2009
Do you believe in Feng Shui? I used to not really believe in it but today, my perception on Feng Shui has totally changed. Today i woke up quite early ( I don't know 8 am is considered early or not but the only thing i know is that its killing me). My Gu gu from Singapore came to my house to look at our Feng Shui. She has been into this Feng Shui profession for quite a number of years. Since. she's In M'sia, she dropped by to take a look at our house. She even helped us to calculate our birth date ( "Pat Zhi"). So, she started off with mine 1st. And to my surprise most of the things she said about me is TRUE!. Especially about my relationship luck. She even can guessed that I have a bf already this year based on my birth date( I swear that no one ever tell her bout it). I almost spitted out the tea I'm drinking when she ask me about it. I looked at my dad, then to my mom, then to my dad again. Then, dad say, nvm, just tell your aunt the truth. Later, she told me the career that is suitable for me, and another surprise too. She said that I'm suitable for finance and insurance sectors. So, since I actually planned to pursue Actuarial Science, what she predicted is almost accurate. She too talks bout my wealth luck, health, my strength, my weakness and influence in my future. According to her, for this coming two years, I'll be facing emotitonal clash (which I think i am beginning to face now) something due to my star clashing with my birth date so she ask me to not to take things too overly and learn to let go. This emotional clash will go off by the time I am 20, so i think its not that bad. Then, she went on with my siblings and parents one. For two hours, I sat with them, trying to gain some concept about Feng Shui and what is she trying to explain. Overall, I gained some new knowledge today not to mention my new perception about Feng Shui.

After this, I'm going out to Banting ( I guessed its somewhere in Negeri Sembilan) for dinner with Hao Min's, Suet Huey's and a few more families as a reunion. We are testing the so call "famous" Beggar Chicken there. Later sure got a lot of things to catch up with Hao Min and Suet Huey. We have to travel at bout 4 something cuz it takes about 2 hours to reach there. Hopefully the chicken will taste nice. Yesterday's conversation with Ian was less than interesting, more precisely its very annoying. Its not because both of us, it just that our attempt to start a conversation keeps on disrupted by the bad Internet connection. I just don't know what happened to the damn connection. Perhaps it is also suffering from emotional breakdown. WTH! It sucks to the max! Forgive my bad language, i couldn't help it.

Oh ya, i read finish The Chocolate Lover's Diet. It is quite interesting for me but I think I'm skipping The Chocolate Run first because I think i got overdose of chocolates..indirectly. Cuz every corner of TCLD ( the 1st book i mentioned) is about chocolates, chocolates and more chocolates. This book is not recommended for those who has no will power to stay away from the heavenly delicious sugary brown tidbits cuz you will tend to eat it along as you read the book. I felt lk i have ate a whole book of chocolate. I'm starting The Secret Shopper's Revenge after this. At least i can resist shopping rather than chocolates. For this two months of sticking my butt everyday on the coach, I read quite a number of new novels and reread some of the old ones already. Lets see, i scribble the list out:

1. The Da Vinci Code
2. Deception Point
3. Angels and Demons
4. Human Traces
5. The Interpretation of Murder
6. The Confession of a Shopaholic
7. If You Could See Me Now
8. The Chocolate Lover's Diet
I have another 4 new ones coming up, including the one i just started. Hope can finish on time. To anyone out there, if you have any great books, lend me ya!

Let a four leaf clover bring me luck

P/S: The date and time for this post is inaccurate..sorry ya!

You are my valentine

Thursday, February 12, 2009

My first Valentine's Day was unbelieveable great! Or should I say perfect 10? I have no idea how to describe everything out, the feelings are incredible. Yesterday, me and Ian went out for our Valantine's Day celebration. We decided to celebrate it earlier to avoid the crowds on this saturday. We went to Sunway Piramid by bus and it was not as bad as i thought before that. In fact, I glad we took the bus, at least I got to cuddle with him..hahah! So, we reached there bout 12 pm, caught a movie, looked around for William's present, windowed shopping, chatted, laughed and enjoyed! Oh, we did too exchanged presents. He gave me an adorable teddy which was hugging a cup that was filled with chocolates and a Valentine's card. He does know what I love! I used the word "was" because I started to eat the 1st chocolate di..couldn't stand looking at it. It tasted incredible, its lk Cadbury. But I'm definitely saving the Ferero Rocher last to eat. Not enough with that, he too bought me this cute star which I had named it Starry while the teddy had a name " Spencer". I got this nice bracelet with my nickname on it too.. Thanks, my dear! There's been times yesterday which he did something that touch my heart. Anyway, the moment I love the most is not in the cinema, not when we "windowed shopping", not when you read me the poem, its during the journey back home. I can felt a great sence of secure when I felt asleep in his hands. Its lk no one can ever take you away from me. We reached back kjg bout 7 something. What a wonderful day!

I discovered this song "My Valentine" today and I would lk to dedicate it to Ian.

if there were no words
no way to speak
i would still hear you
if there were no tears
no way to feel inside
i'd still feel for you
and even if the sun refused to shine
even if romance ran out of rhyme
you would still have my heart until the end of time
you're all i need, my love, my Valentine.

all of my life
i have been waiting for
all you give to me
you've opened my eyes
and shown me how to love unselfishly
i've dreamed of this a thousand times before
in my dreams i couldn't love you more
i will give you my heart
until the end of time
you're all i need, my love, my Valentine

and even if the sun refused to shine
even if romance ran out of rhyme
you would still have my heart until the end of time'cause all i need is you, my Valentine
You're all i need, my love, my Valentine

P/S: To Ian, you stole my 1st kiss and I'm glad you are the one :)

Pink Panther 2 rocks!

Monday, February 9, 2009

Yesterday, dad brought us to watch Pink Panther 2 in Cheras Selatan. For those who had watch the 1st one, you know how funny it is. And the 2nd one is even better. Hands up for Steve Martin! He's definitely a great actor. In this movie, he's the funny guy, Inspector Clouseau who's english accent is incredibly funny. I'm not gonna disclose the plot yet since Ian havent watch it yet..don't wanna to spoil the exitement..heheh! Overall, it's sure a movie that can make you laugh till you drop..

While in Jusco yesterday, I bought another 3 novels to read. That doesn't seem mind that i buying so many, he said, since I'm so free, why not I read more books.( Lk what Ian said, to prevent my brain from rusting). Its definitely better than hugging my Tv set the whole day, at least I can fill my free time constructively. So, I bought these books, which two of them have something to do with chocolates and their cover, although the contents have nothing much to do with chocolates. Its their "yummy" title that caught my attention actually. I think this book can last for bout one month, so i can benefit them while waiting for result to come out. These are the books I bought:

On Saturday, my bro and I had a lilttle so call "adventure" in our neighbourhood playground. We were there to play basketball cuz mom ask us to move our butts" rather than watching tv the whole day. So, we gave in and went there for a game. Unfortunately, our "game" lasted for onl;y 15 minutes. This was how it went.. Bro threw the ball too hard and it flew out of the court. So, he went to pick it up. Its only the bad news. The worse was when he tried to threw the ball back to the court, it hit a tree and the ball practically bounced back outwards. The worst news was the ball fell into a big monsoon drain. Bro and I gave each other a blank stare, meanwhile, the only word I can think of is "S**t*. *Gasps*.*Panic*. We were lk " Oh God, oh God! What should we do???!!!" Call for help? Bd idea cuz the only person who was there is an old man. We don't want take the risk breaking his bone for help us to retrieve back the ball. So, this is how our adventure begun. We went around the park, searching whether there's any way we could get down the drain. Then, bro get a "good idea". He suggested we climb down into a smaller drain at far end of the playground, then we walk along the drain which lead into the monsoon drain at another end. I hessitated at 1st cuz it was dangerous afterall. Imagine, if suddenly a big splash of water coming after you. In the end we decided to give it a try cause both of us agree that this is far better than enduring nags from our parents for losing the ball. Bro pull me together into his lil "adventure" half way, because he got afraid to go under the dark tunnel. We practically crawling all the way long. I was praying so hard that no any rats or cockraoches came in our way. Thank God we safely got back the ball. *Phew* But we did not continue our game cause the ball was full of dirts and not to mention billions of germs by then. Anyway, we decided to hang aroung the park longer cause if we went back so early, mo sure ask what happen. Since we have no intention to disclose what had just happen, we stay awhile and sat on the swings and wait for time past. It's been such a long time since I had sat on one. It brought back old happy memories..so that's my lil "adventure" on sat. Other than that, there's nothing much happening around lately.

On wednesday, I'm going out on a Valentine's date with Ian. Yohoo!! Couldn't wait for it..i wonder how will it go on..hmm..?? We are going to Sunway Piramid this time. Hoping that it will be a memorable and a sweet one. I'm very curious to find out what he is giving me..seems lk he had prepared it for a long time. I hope he will lk what I have got for him *cross my fingers*. Let the magic continue!

Hope our love will be eternity

Tuesday, February 3, 2009
CNY went past just in a blink. So much event happening around..and i think i got fatter already from all the snacks and junk food I ate for past whole week. All my efforts to loose weight before CNY came to a Zero!! But its only once in a year i binged myself lk that, after this all my daily mundane routines will resume back in no time. Here's some pics for the past whole week during Cny:-

Me and my lil cousins

Me and Ching Ching

Fireworks from yesterday. It lasted for 30 mins. I got quite a clear view from my room:)

Yesterday, while chatting with Ian, we (or me) discovered something interesting about the video cam stuff. I never knew that ( not until yesterday) that he can actually sees me even though he does not have a videa cam. I got quite shock too. At ist I was blur bout everything. Then he told me that he can hears and See! me on his comp. My 1st reaction was "Shit!!" He saw me in my ugly pj???!!"Lol..we then tested a few times but i guessed the connection sucked yesterday so many of our attempt fail. But i felt funny as though i am talking to myself 'cause i couldnt see him. Pray that my parents won't pass by and saw me doing that. Let's see how things go tonight..haha:)

My CNY up to 3rd day

Thursday, January 29, 2009
CNY Eve

This is the 1st year my family celebrated CNY away from Kajang. We travelled down to Johore Bharu, to my uncle hse. We started to travel bout 12 pm. The traffic was very heavy, especially at the Seremban Highway. There's nothing amusing sitting in the car only, so i msged Ian for a while, seemed lk his pretty busy with his friends and family. It took us bout 3 hours plus to reach Johore. Uncle brought us to check into Austin Hills Resort. Its a golf resort and man! it was so beautiful! After that, Ta Pak led us to his new house which is in Austin Heights, 1 min from the resort. We looked around, had our reunion dinner which is cartered from the resort. Had a great time talking and playing poker with my cousins. There was also mahjong games. Mathias, my cousin's husband from Germany, joined too. Oh man! He is really good at it, even better than most of us.. paisehnya..haha..This continued until past midnight. I called Ian and chatted for a while. I miss him so much at there. There's fireworks and i think most of the ppl there are quite rich, cuz there so much fireworks around the area and it continued for 30 minutes non-stop. That was the best fireworks i ever saw in my whole life. Not even KL had such beautiful fireworks. The mahjong game continued until 1.30 am in the morning, then we went back to the resort and doozed off..

1st day of CNY

We woke up at 10 something, went to Ta Pak hse for breakfast a.k.a brunch. Then, we start to travel to Singapore. Luckily the traffic was great. Dad speeded a lil. The limit was suppose to be 110 km/h but dad went over 120km/h cuz according to him the car did not seem lk moving at all. Mom kept on asking him to be slower, in case got road block or anything. Reached the Custom bout 4 pm, went through all the procedures. There's a lil traffic jam there and the officers there work super slow..serious! After that, we went to gu gu house. Its been a long time since the last time I went there. 3 years back?? I not sure but there not much different there. We help to prepare for the bbq stuff that we have to bring over to our resort. I managed to contact jie at there using Irene jie jie laptop. It felt lk something is missing without jie with us for CNY. Talked for a while with her. Then, we have to move to our resort in Pasir Ris. The place is called Downtown East, which is a very huge recreation centre for tourist. Its almost lk Sg's Club Med. Everthing is there, from shopping, to amusement parks, water parks, and any kind of food. You can get pratically everything there provided if you got money..haha..There's even this dorm for circus shows. There's a lot of tourist there. We checked in the Coastal Sand Resort which is also in Downtown East. We startesd to bbq at 6.30 pm. Gu gu also prepared some buffet dinner for us. Fen Fen jie jie and Ken Wai joined us later at night bout 8 something. Everyone is so excited to see her baby bump. We had bbq chicken, sausages, satays and becon. Its feels different to celebrate CNY away from home. And that feeling is great! Its different, not eating restaurant food. There's a lot of families there too for bbq. You can sensed the CNY mood there too. After everyone stuffed themselves with food, it was mahjong time again!! Played until bout 2 am only sleep.. hehe..it was only during CNY we can play until this late so why wasting time sleeping..haha..It was a memorable day!

spot me

2nd Day of CNY

We had a full day in Downtown East. After having breakfast in Burger King, us, the teenangers went to look around. We went in The Escape, the amusement park. It is like a mini Genting there. Sat a few rides. It was not as fun as Genting but better than nothing. Later, we went for bowling in E! Hub. The bowling centre is very huge, and not to mention the crowd there. Had to wait for a few minutes to get our place. We had one game, and its so UNBELIEVEABLE! I actually won it..haha..yeah!! We return to the resort, refreshed ourselves then gu gu bring us out to dinner. Later at night, we went to Ang Pao River, where there's this CNY Celebration there. It is at Marina Bay. Oh my gosh! the crowd there was so huge..There's perfomance on the stage. We went around to take pics of the decorations there. There's also food carnival there, lots of stalls with many varieties from around the world. We tasted some korean, Japanese and taiwan cuisines. In front of Marina Bay, there's this huge construction site. And guess what..it is going to be the largest casino in Asia. Its called The sand and will be completed in another 2 years i guess. It looks so grand from the river front. We hang out there until about 11pm then went back to resort. No mahjong game for tonight 'cuz everyone was too tired di.

I am overweight, over height and over age for this..ISH.. The not so "haunted" house

3rd Day of CNY

VivoCity Shopping Mall

I was waken up by some telephone call from the receptionist to remind us the check out time. Packed! Packed! then checked out.. We then traveled back to M'sia. Nothing much happening. Before leaving SG, we went to ViVoCity, a megamall in Jurong. Shopped a lil while. We stopped by Seremban for our dinner then went back home. Later at night, Li Li jie jie fetch me and bro to my cousin hse for another mahjong session. Played until 2.30 am yesterday. There's something i discovered bout Singaporeans :

1. You seldom see any fat ppl there given their healthy eating style
2. Singaporeans loves reverse parking

The prove

3. There's no old cars in Singapore
4. You cant see any rubbish on the road sides

Lol..anyway, it feels good to come home. I nvr miss home so much b4. I keep on looking forward to talk to Ian..haha..at least i chatted a while with him yest. Today, having some party at jiu jiu hse. We are celebrating two of my cousins b'day. Then, tomorrow got visitings. Still i enjoyed this few days a lot. More pics in my facebook. Drop by and take a look k. Bye bye!
