Hermits, ma babies..

Sunday, May 17, 2009
My 1st outing after one whole week in Kedah is went out with Ian. He came by my house to pick up the F6 books. Then, we went out for lunch in Pizza Hut. Pizza tasted super delicious after one whole week of consuming breads and biscuits. Ian drove this time and I think after this he'll become the driver everytime we go out..hehehehe! After lunch, I buy us an ice cream from BR then walked around metro point. Gosh, so nice to see Liang after one week of suffering in KMK. So relieved to hug him...to chat with him,...to see him. We came across a stall selling small pets and we saw some hermit crabs. They're soooooooooooooooooooooooo cute. Ian bought me 3 of them, cuz buy 2 free 1. I named them Jack, Jacob and JZ. Jacob is the active one, the other two keep on sleep only, like lifeless. I hope they'll last long, at least keep me accompany for a few months b4 I start college. Whoever wants to eat them or hurt them, over ma dead body. Thanks dear!! I love you!! *Muackss* You're the best!

Orientation week @ KMK, Changlun

So many events had happened since last friday. Decided to go KMK on Wed, spent the whole day with Ian on Friday and on that day itself i expereince my first heart broken when i found out that I was not selected for JPA scholarship. I really felt my heart brken into pieces, I couldn't hold back myself anymore, I cried the whole night before to Kedah. Dad kept assuring me that he's help me to settle everything here, to appeal and all the stuff, and kept remind me not to be afraid. All those words made me felt a lil relieved but at the same time, I kept wondering, why did I studied so hard all this while, worked hard to achieve my best results not only in my studies, but also for my cocurriculum, and all I got was nothing. But then, I realised God must have His own reason for that. And I realised it the past whole week in Kedah. One week in KMK was unforgettable. There was happy and sad times there. The happy part was that I made many new friends from all over the M'sia. Although out of the 2000+ students, only 98 students are non-bumi there. And all these 98 students are very united as we realised we are the minority there. Everyone is so friendly and help each other in many ways. We had moral activities every single day during the Muslims prayers periods, and during these sessions, we had seniors from last year batch to guide us on KMK life and how to cope with both studies and cocurriculum activities. For the 1st two days, they were quite strict to us, for bring punctual and learn to listen instructions, but then after a few days with them, they were almost like our close friends already, chatting with us and tried their best to answer our quiestions. On the other hand, the sad and worst part of this orientation weeks was the hectic shcedule. We had to wake up at 5 am everyday, bath in the icy cold water not to mention we had to practically rush for the toilets as the number of cubcles not enough. At 6 am, we had to gather at the lecture hall for our morning moral activities while the muslims prayed. Then at 7 am, we had our senamrobik until 8 am. At 8.30 am, we'll be in the tutorial class with our mentor until 12.30 pm. Finally we had our break from 12.30 until 2 pm, but usually we take those time to bath. After 2, we continue the activity until 4 pm. There's one hour break between 4 to 5 pm. Then, got riadah petang from 5 to 7 pm. After 7, we had our moral activities until 9 pm then proceded to talks in either lecture hall or dataran pelajar until 11 pm. Me and Nancy practically survived only on biscuits and breads for the whole 5 days. We even need to eat while walking from one block to another there's no dinner time for us. Not the mention how huge the whole college is and we havta walk in baju kurungs. Our day usually ended after 12 am after bathing and washed the clothes. The the very same activities continue for the next four days. The students were divived into 8 sport houses. Me, Jeeva, Kavitha and Bee Tao were in Gamma while Nancy was in Theta. Me and Nancy represented our houses for Volleyball competetion for the Mini Sukan. Theta got 2nd while my team won 3rd. It was really fun minus the hot sun as I had a very great teammates. Although we didn't get 1st but our spirit was there. I got bruises from the games on my knees and hands but it was worth it. We had Mahjis Penutupan and Sambutan Hari Guru on Friday. The seniors showed us a few vidoes on the events they organised during CNY and Deepavali last year. They seems to be pretty exciting and if I'm there, I'll contest for the student's body posts. A lot of people ask why I came back. The main one was as I'm in acount stream, I need to study 3 out of 4 subjects in BM which then i need to switch back on Eng when i enter U. Dad was not happy with it so decided to bring me back to study A level, most prob in Sunway if I didn't get YSD scholarship. The only thing I'm worry to come back is my friends there especially Nancy. I know she also wants to come back together with me. It really made me sad to see her cried the other day. But then I keep on telling myself I couldnt stop myself from doing what I want just to make other people happy. Ya, so now I'm back home, sleeping on my lovely bed, chatting with my dear.
