12 hours of pure joy

Its's 4 months

Ole Ole Ole Ole!!

Oh yeah babeh!

If you haven't know yet, I'm on cloud nine now, above your head. It has been four months since the moment my life changed. Oh yeah oh yeah! Lolz..you must think I'm 99% insane now. Even me myself couldn't be sure whether I'm still sane or not.

Me and Ian went out for our 6th date now, or 7th date, err..i lost count already. Our day started early today, from 8.30 am. We took the train to KlCC, lucky the crowd at the train station was not packed in the morning. Arrived at KL Sentral about 9.30 am. Ian had his McD breakfast there. Then, took Putra LRT to KlCC. Reached at our destination about 10.30 am. We walked around, later went into Kinokuniya to check out some books. Ian bought me Twilight and some stationery and he too bought his aunt a book about childcare if I'm not mistaken. We hanged out in there for one hour plus. We went out to the front park to take a few pictures. After that, we watched X-Men: Wolverine which is officially shown today but the cinema was not very crowded. Maybe its because today is a weekday. But we did saw a lot of students and kids with school uniforms came to visit the Science fair at PetroSains. Wth..I didn't even got the chance to visit PetroSains before, I'm so outdated..apalah me =.=''..The movie was quite exciting *two thumbs up* (but beware! there's a few scences which are quite violent). The movie ended by 1.45 pm, we went for a lunch at KFC. Ian was so eager to buy the X-meal cuz it has the X-Men free gifts but end up its out of stock.*so sad*. He still bought it though..hahha..I thought can do some shopping there, but the stuffs there are too expensive. We actually windowed shopping from shop to shop and floor to floor to search for necklaces but its all those branded shops that sells stuffs that costs my whole life wages. Both of us walked from LG to 4th floor for two rounds cuz the time was still early. Then, *blink* suddenly this idea popped up in our mind. We decided to drop by MV for our last attempt to search for the necklaces. Ian still bought me cookies and chocolates from Famous Amos b4 we flee to the LRT station. Love you dear!! Now, I had a month supply of chocolates. Bye bye diet! Welcome total sugar and fat~~ We were so happy that we thought we were able to catch the LRT on time but then while waiting for the KTM to MV the spoiler of the day appeared. "Ding ding ding ding, perhatian kpd semua penumpang, keretaapi ke Seremban dan MV telah ditangguhkan selama 40 minit" wtff..and the underground area was so terrible hot and we sweated lk hell ( pls remind me not to wear long sleeve shirts anymore after this, not in Msia with the temperature of 40 degrees!)So, we had no choice but to wait for 40 minutes in the oven like area. Almost cancel the plan to MV cuz we were worried bout the time frame. Luckily, we got to board the train and got to MV by 5.30 pm. Started to look around the small stalls for any suitable necklaces and lucky for us that we saw this stall that sells necklaces that we were endlessly searching for. Ian possessed a very good negotiating skills, he managed to save a few bucks for both of us. Bravo! *Claps claps* If next time you want to bargain with sales man, feel free to ask Ian to go with you..hahhahah! Finally, we had the necklaces, rested for awhile then went back home. The train was so crowded..as usual..ppl are packed together like canned sardines. We managed to reach Kajang at 7.30 pm. Oh yeah! I got my personal driver already..hahha..he's on call 24 hours..hahhha..joking only! I wish! Ian sent himself back (take note of that) then I got home bout 8 something..phew lucky my parents didn't nag me about it. Oh well, that's all for my wonderful day. I just realised that I went out with him for almost 12 hours today. And i can proudly say that this 12 hours are one of the best moments in my 18 years of life. I'm going out again to MV tomorrow with my bunch of girlfriends. Before that, need to soak my poor legs first in warm water.~chao~

BFF gathering @ Old Town, Metro Point

Monday, April 27, 2009
I had a wonderful day today, minus the morning hectic schedule. I was supposed to wake up at 9.30, but ended up got up at 10 am. Had a scary nightmare yesterday. I dreamt bout a zombie (Or vampire!) chased after me in a forest and TRIED to kiss me ( hell no way!). WendyO was in there too. Then, a bunch of those scary alien creatures appeared and chased after us the humans. Then , what happened after that was quite blur. After a tremendous shock from waking up late, I went straight to refresh myself then went to fetch Glynn and Grace. Nancy came to join us after a while, we then bought a chocolate cake from Suki Bakery for May Yee. It's her birthday!! There's 7 of us for the gathering, me, Nancy, Grace, Jia Wern, Charissa, Glynn, and May Yee. Surprisingly, Wendy and her bf, Henry were at Metro Point too, so invited them to join along. First time talked face to face with Henry. They dropped by for a while only, then went dating again. The rest of us talked and talked until 12 something. Its been so long we didn't gathered up to chat like just now already. Had much jokes and laughed like during high school time. At bout 12, we sang May Yee a birthday song and ate the cake together. Nancy and JIa Wern went back after that cuz they have to go back to NS camp. 5 of us hang out there until 12.30 pm, then walked a round to do a lil window shopping. Nothing much to see or shop at Metro Point, and it's like so deserted, not much people around. We left at 1 pm, I fetched Glynn back home then went to picked bro up from school. Happy that I'm going out with them again on Thursday to Mid Valley. Definitely looking forward to it ~weeeee~

Overdose of everything

Saturday, April 25, 2009
I had overdose of everything ranging from sleep, chocolates, fruits, TV, to online. I had almost 10 hours of sleep + 3 hours of afternoon nap, ate the whole bar of dark chocolate, two plates of different fruits, endless hours of tv-ing and uncountable time spent onlining. I start to wonder why there's is so much hour is one day, should reduce to 12 hours. The funny thing is that during SPM examinations, I secretly wished that there will be 30 hours a day so I can study more. And now, it's a totally different story. How good if I can jump to any day I want..*ALAKAZAMZAM* *WHOSSH* There, I'm on Wednesday already..*slap**slap* Day dreaming again..err..wait..i think is "evening dreaming". I started a new HK drama series, The Winter melon Story. It's very funny indeed, although there's some part which I don't get the jokes. Seriously, I need to brush up my Cantonese skills. I was hoping for subtitles either Malay or English but there's only Chinese one which is totally not helping for a banana like me. Then, had a long nap in the afternoon from 3 to 5 plus. I really think I'm a ^@^-to-be. I have decided not to accept the matriculation offer cuz first of all, its in KEDAH!! It's so far! Then , Glynn told me got bomoh one wor..later kena jinx ahahahaha. Secondly, Dad prefer me to do A Level rather than matrix. Thirdly and the most important one, there's NO INTERNET connection there. Can die wei, dahlah can only come back during semester break, can't go online some more. What's the different between that and jail?? Go there to study study study until insane. I bet I wouldn't be able to survive even for a week.Yup, so I'll definitely not going to Kedah. Oh yeah!! So, currently sit at home, wait for scholarship offer and most prob enrolling in private college to do the A Level. Just hope that the MOE will be kind enough to offer me JPA scholarship.~ May luck always be my side~*miss dear a lot*

Yayasan Sime Darby interview (2nd Level)

Thursday, April 23, 2009
I went for Yayasan Sime Draby assessment today in Legend Hotel, opposite PWTC. As usual, got up early at 6 am, start travelling at 6.30 am in order to beat the traffic. Lucky can arrive earlier than expected. I was surprise to see some my newly known friends from the initial level were there like Wei Wen, William (Sarawak guy), Jun Yit, Aina. There's a total of 8 of us for today session, which was the last of the 4 days sessions which started on Monday. A total of 32 candidates make it to the 2nd round out of 90 candidates from the initial level. Frankly to say, I'm very surprise to get into this round as I felt that I did not very well in the initial round especially in the online assessment. If I would rate the initial on a 1 to 10 scale, I would gave it 5/10. But for this 2nd round, Omgosh! That's what i call insane, 9.5 out of 10. Its very hard and challenging. We had three presentation task today.

The 1st one was individual presentation. Each candidate was given a file full of ETS information and portfolios including their sales turnover for each department and customer surveys. The whole information was about more than 10 pages. And you want to know what's the most exciting thing, each of us only given 30 minutes to prepare our presentation which includes what's the most significant findings from all those charts and survey, what actions in long and short term can be taken to improve the company's profile, and give a time plan to implement all those actions. We were seriously shocked by the task as we have no what so ever idea bout ETS (Evolution Technology System) and we have to absorb as much infos into our pathetic little brain in 30 minutes and at the same time think for solutions and WROTE all the points on pieces of mahjong papers. Just to fill your curiosity, ETS is a leading software company who develops software for business company and helps its clients to manage their IT system. I didn't have the time to go through all the information in details, so just went through briefly, and gave it one shot try for the presentation. All the assessors are the heads of each core business for Sime Darby. I was assessed by a Malay guy. He listened to my presentation then shot me with some questions which some I have never heard before. Lk he asked me about the name of the delivery system which was introduced in Japan recently. =.=''!! It's actually called JIT system (Just In Time System). Anyway, I seriously don't know bout the system so I just told him that I never heard that before and will take note of it in my future.

After my 1st task, i had my group discussion with the rest of the candidates and together with all the assessors in a small hotel room. The discussion also revolve about ETS. The given situation was that ETS which originally based in Penang wanted to relocate its Business and Marketing Unit to a new place as the original site was too crowded. We were suppose to discuss and find out which is the best place to relocate this unit with the given information like the cost to retrain the staffs, new accommodation and office sites, and business travel cost. So based on all the given information (figures again), we have to choose between Cyberjaya, Kulim or Ipoh. We ended up like a debate event with everyone tried to point out their reasons to choose and not to choose a particular area. The 2ND task was about 30 minutes which I felt like 30 hours, lk no ending to all those debates.

So, right after that, we had the 3rd and last presentation, a role play. Each candidate was given another study case we had to play a certain role. I was asked to play the role of a Product Service Consultant of ETS, Ahmad Roslan. And my client name was Mr. Micheal Lim from Aspren Tree Futures. My situation was that the client had a few concerns and issues after purchasing my company's product, AsiaTrade bond software and he wanted to know more about user training programme. Like the previous two presentations, we were given a folder which contain all the information about Asia Bond Trade software, Us Trading software and information about user training programme. Within 15 minutes, we had to read and understand about the products and services of ETS and find solutions for the client's issues. And the assessor won't let us pass so easily without giving us a hard time to persuade them about the prices. It's all about our ability to negotiate and talk to a client and gain their trust. Oh well, I just tried my best to deal with the assessors never ending demand and not to loose my patience..hahaha..

That's all for the assessments. You will never be able to imagine how stress all this was unless you were in my shoes. Without any knowledge in the finance and business world, I felt hopeless going through all those presentation. My presentations were 10% made up of logical answers and 90% of crapping. Haiz..Finished everything at about 11.30 am, waited Dad at the lobby. While waiting, chatted with Kai Ren, he's from Johore who was currently studying in Singapore. Pity him, he had to take bus all the way back to Singapore today. After that, I called Ian up, I felt so relieved to hear his voice. Talked to Ian for a little while then Dad arrived. Went for brunch in Kl, then went back straight home. Oh well, that's all for my day. New experiences with new friends, quite interesting. I even got to brush up my skill in debating and all thanks to dear and jie who supported me through out this whole interview thing. Love both of you! Lots of hugs and kisses for you two! Oh my, couldn't wait for the upcoming Wednesday. KLCC here i come!

I promise you..(!warning: do not read if you have a weak heart)

Thursday, April 16, 2009
To my special one,

I promise you that our heart will stay close forever no matter how far we are

I promise you that I'll keep your heart forever and you have to guard mine

I promise you that I'll stay strong without you by my side

I promise you that I'll take care of myself properly and won't make you worry

I promise you that you'll be "promoted" when you are ready

I promise you that I'll hold on to all the above promises and other promises I have made as long as I live

Lol..the 5th one sounds silly..only you'll understand it..haha..sorry for my today's immature reaction. I know I'm suppose to be happy for you. I don't know why I reacted in such way when you told me that. Maybe I'm overly emotional..or maybe I just fear to loose you. When I thought back, I felt so silly for being such a child. I should have handle it better, in a more adult way. I should have known it will happen sooner or later. Anyway, I'll treasure every moment we will be together now and hope for the best for our future. Got to go find chocolate gor gor now..really need it. Hahaha..adios!

p/s: I had great moment with you today (minus the emo part). Thanks for the wonderful memories. I love you :)

Happy Birthday Dad!

Tuesday, April 14, 2009
My dearest dad is turning 49 in less than 15 mins..

Happy Birthday Dad!
*Muackss*

Today, we had a dinner celebration for my dad in Milwaukee, a western restaurant located in Balakong. It was our first time there and it gave a pretty good impression. And guess what, my dear Ian came along with us too. Mom and Dad invited him to join with us, and he's proud to be part of the history making in Chen's family..hehe..This is because this is the 1st time we had a *not yet, soon-to-be* family member to celebrate an important event together with us. I'm really happy that Ian and my parents got along extremely well. They had many topics to talk about. I'm sooooooo proud of you my dear! Another reason to be happy is that we finally got to talk and SEE each other after 40 plus hours din't speak or hear from either. Nope, we were not fighting or having cold war. You see, we had this silly idea to test how long we can survive without contacting each other. We we had a deal that we were not suppose to chat or msg eachh other since yesteday until just now evening and find out how much we'll miss each other. And i can say this is a very idiotic idea cuz when we purposely not contact each other, we made ourselves miss the other person even more. That was such a crazy move..we swore that we'll never repeat that ever again. Ok..back to the dinner. So, we had a very great dinner, the food was very nice and the environment was great! They even have a live band, unfortunately the sound system was a bit loud which made us practically havta shout to each other in order to talk. Then, we came back around 9 something as Jie was waiting for us to online and sang birthday song to my dad. Lucky this time, emotion was under control and every thing was just as planned. I noticed that Dad had a beaming smile on his face during that moment. I hope i can make him happy lk this every other day. Me and Ian bought a pandan layered cake for dad as I know that he prefer this rather than chocolate cake. Glad that everyone love the cake. After we had our cake, i fetched Ian back home. We had our sweet lil time before sending him back. Chatted a lil while, and something happened that I rather not mentioned it here. But i did have a great time with him. All this talking makes me understand him even more and love him ever deeply. We sorta settle out something between us and I hope Ian will remember what I told him tonight. When I reached home, I gave dad his birthday present, a homemade photo frame. Proud that he's absolutely happy with the present. Oh well, it's already past midnight so Happy Birthday again to my dad!

Time can't be gifted, but it can be shared

Saturday, April 11, 2009
I stayed up until middle of the night yesterday to finish up reading "The Gift" by Cecilia Ahern. Not that i wanna to prove how much I can read but it just that the story line kept on making me to continue reading it. I was very curious to find out the ending of the story which I did managed to finish up by 3 am. You know what, I adore Cecilia Ahern, all her novels are incredible *worship her*. It's not just about romance, its about love not only "boy-girl" relationship, it also revolved love for your family, friends and to the people surrounding you. And you might not know, any person around you might be an angel sent by God to make things better, to correct what is wrong, to change your perception and view about things you might not realise before this. "The Gift" is really a Christmas story, all about spreading the love to other people, especially to our family and dearest ones. What I can say is that its the most meaningful story Cecilia Ahern ever wrote among all her novels. They never failed to make my tear ducts work every time i reached the ending. First was P/s I Love You, then If You Could See Me Now, and now The Gift. Cousin bro promised to get me Thanks For The Memories when he go to MV soon. With that, my collection of Cecilia Ahern novels would be complete. and I'm hereby to say I that I'm really proud my them. Today, I started to read New Moon. You see, my mood is like the sky today, moody and cloudy the whole day. I don't even feel like moving around and there's even nothing for me to do after came back from breakfast at Sri Petaling. Tried to find anyone to chat on msn but seems like most of them had their weekends planned out already except me. Didn't intend to bother jie cuz i know she is studying for her important exam on Monday. So, I just laid back and read New Moon until dinner time. And I'm surprised how much I had read in within 6 hours. I almost made it through half of the book already. Though I already knew the ending of all the story, but still it's very fascinating, the story between Edward and Bella and how they overcome all the obstacles for being together ( one being a vampire and another person is a human). I'm too waiting for the whole collection of this story, geee..can't wait for it. I'll continue reading my novel for now while waiting for Ian to sign in. Anyway, before I chao, let me ask you this simple question,

If you could wish for one gift this Christmas, what would it be?

Though this question sounds awkward at this moment and Christmas is months away from now, give it a thought, maybe you could have an early Christmas wish. Who knows Santa might be kind to you..

P.S~ Jie, last night I dreamt that you came back to M'sia and we went for shopping together and we had a blast..lol..really hope time will fly and comes to June faster..

P.P.S~ Ian, maybe you are true bout a person's scent. No one can imitate it. Anyway, I'll try to get you a bottle of what I'm using now. Maybe Guardian didn't sell the exact same one.

Love,
yin
